New United Kingdom First Black High Commissioner

Her name is Nnenne Iwuji-Eme.
She is a female from Black Africa in the West African Sub region.
She is from the Igbo Tribe in Southeast Nigeria.
She has served for 16 years as a diplmatic in the United Kingdom (UK).

Nnenne Iwuji-Eme was appointed as the United Kingdom Ambassador to Mozambique.
She is to resume duties in July 2018.

The UK Foreign Secretary, said Iwuji-Eme has vision , experience and energy for the appointment and role.
An excited Iwuji-Eme said "I hope my appointment as the first black diplomat will apire young talents regardless of race or background to pursue their ambition as I look forward to forging stronger relationship between UK and Mozambique and the rest of the Commonwealth Nations.
