Aisha of the Bring Back Our Girls Movement has expressed her disappointment in the leadership of President Buhari and his Vice President Yemi Osibanjo. She described Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo as her “biggest disappointment in the current administration.” She made the remark while reacting to claim by the Vice President that former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration shared N150bn two weeks to the commencement of 2015 election.

Nigeria: Bokoharam Denied my Daughter Freedom Because She is a Christian - Dapchi Girl's Father

Father of one of the Dapchi School Girls that was kidnapped by the Bokoharam Terrorist Group in Yobe State Nigeria has cried out that the Terrorist Group deny his daughter freedom because she is a Christian and refused to convert to Islam.

BokoHaram Terrorists have refused to release Leah Sheribu, one of the 110 schoolgirls abducted from a secondary school in Dapchi, last month, because she refused to convert from her Christian religion to emerged that the terrorists had driven the abducted girls back to Dapchi on Wednesday March 21, 2018.

This claim was made by Sheribu’s father, Nata, while speaking during an interview after Nata said his daughter was not released by the terrorist group because she refused to renounce her Christian faith like they demanded.

He said he discovered this after speaking to some of the released girls on the phone and that he’s proud of his daughter’s decision.

He said, “Right now, I’m not in Dapchi. I’m in my duty post. I called the parents who are in Dapchi. I was informed that my daughter was not released. All of them have been released but they said some were dead there, but my daughter is alive.

“They said she was a Christian that’s why they could not release her. They said she cannot be released until she becomes a Muslim. And my daughter said she would never be a Muslim.

“I spoke with about five to six of them whose daughters have been released. They are presently with their daughters in Dapchi. They were dropped by the Boko Haram people in Dapchi town this morning.

“I am happy because my daughter did not denounce her faith. They refused to release her because she refused to convert to Islam.”

Nigeria Needs The Technology of Biafra To Drive Industrializaion - Minister of Communication

Minister of Communication, Adebayo Shittu, has tasked the Federal Government to trace innovators of the defunct Biafra who are still alive for them to deploy their technological know-how towards the nation’s drive for industrialisation.
General Ojukwu and General Gowon
General Ojukwu and General Gowon

The Minister regretted that the nation failed to take advantage of the great innovations propelled by the three-year war, which ended in 1970, by making use of those he described as great minds that sustained the then Biafra army.
Shittu, who spoke at the commissioning of Technology Orientation Centre, built by the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), at Idu, Abuja, yesterday, urged the agency to go beyond the elite environment and trace these innovators, most of whom did not even have university education.
He also lamented Nigeria’s over dependence on import even for its daily needs, and tasked the agency to do something urgently to close the gap.
“I recall that during the civil war, we had so many innovators from Nnewi and other parts of eastern region then. So many people, who didn’t have university education, developed so many technological infrastructure in the East. But it looks like after the war, they were forgotten. I think Nigeria should look for these great minds that may not have had university education but in terms of innovativeness, they sustained to a great deal the then Biafra Republic Army.
“I think that NASENI should move beyond the elite environment and look for these people who I believe are going to add great value to what NASENI has been doing.

We Bombed Syria's Nuclear Plant - Israeli Government Admits

Twitter: @dailysealnews Facebook Page: dailyseal Email:
After a decade Israeli Government has admitted it bombed the Syrian Nuclear Site in Northern Syria. The operation was led by Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Norkin in 2007 and the attack was on on Syrian Nuclear Reactor Site.
Israel was behind the 2007 destruction of a nuclear reactor that was being built in northeastern Syria, the IDF Military Censor has now cleared for publication.

Until now, Israeli media have been blocked from publishing details of the reactor’s discovery and the decision- making process that led to its destruction – even as many of those details were being published in the foreign press and in the memoirs of former president George W. Bush and vice president Dick Cheney.

According to Jerusalem Post The Mossad confirmed the existence of the Syrian reactor in March 2007, when the agency obtained photographs of the reactor that was being built in the northeastern Deir al-Zor province, close to the Euphrates River.

The pictures had been requested by the IDF Military Intelligence Directorate, which had suspicions that Damascus was engaging in rogue nuclear activity.

Military Intelligence had seen the structure being built during routine satellite scans of the country. Because it was built like a regular building, it was not immediately clear what the structure was. Then-head of Military Intelligence Maj.-Gen. Amos Yadlin convinced Mossad chief Meir Dagan to send agents to obtain additional, conclusive intelligence.

In an interview with The Jerusalem Post, Peretz explained that in April 2007, he convened his first meeting on the facility with top Israeli officials, during which he made the decision to prepare all options to destroy the facility.

In the months that followed, prime minister Ehud Olmert embarked on a diplomatic push to get Bush to attack the reactor. In July 2007, after Bush decided not to attack, Olmert convened his security cabinet, which ultimately concluded that the reactor had to be destroyed.

“It was a threat that we couldn’t live with,” one member of the security cabinet at the time told the Post. “Syria with nuclear weapons would have posed an existential threat to the State of Israel.”

Some sources have suggested that Olmert wanted to carry out the strike as quickly as possible, but that once Peretz lost the Labor Party leadership and his position as defense minister to Ehud Barak, plans to destroy the facility were delayed.
They say the 2006 Second Lebanon War was always a presence in the room and that Barak was simply waiting for the final report of the Winograd Commission on the war to lead Olmert to resign and allow Barak to get all the credit for the strike.

Meanwhile, Fox News requested information on the reactor from the Pentagon under the US Freedom of Information Act. Israel was informed of the request. Fearing a leak to the media would lead to the operation being compromised, the security cabinet deliberated on the strike one final time on September 5. According to The New Yorker magazine, all ministers voted to strike, with the exception of Public Security Minister Avi Dichter, who abstained.

Following the meeting, Olmert, Barak and then-foreign minister Tzipi Livni were given the green light to decide the final characteristics of the attack. They then withdrew to a side room where IDF chief of staff Gabi Ashkenazi recommended carrying out the strike that night.

Just before midnight on September 5, 2007, four F-15s and four F-16s took off for the al-Kibar facility. The planes entered Syrian airspace via Turkey, and sometime between 12:40 and 12:53 a.m., the pilots called out the operation’s codeword, “Arizona,” signaling that some 17 tons of bombs had been dropped on the facility and it had been destroyed.

Bokoharam Terrorist Group Returns Kidnapped Nigerian Dapchi School Girls

Dapchi Girls
The Bokoharam Terrorist Group has returned the Kidnapped Dapchi School Girls in Yobe State Northeast Nigeria. Reports has it that 105 of the girls were returned with 5 dead.

This is coming in the heels of the accusation by Global human rights watchdog, Amnesty International, AI, which revealed that Nigerian security forces got advance warnings that a convoy of Boko Haram fighters was heading towards Dapchi, a town where 110 schoolgirls were abducted by terrorists on February 19 in an assault similar to the infamous Chibok girls’ abduction of April 2014.

It claimed that no fewer than five calls were put across to security forces between 2pm and 6:30pm on that fateful day of the abduction of female pupils from Government Girls Science and Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe state.

In a report on the incident released yesterday, Amnesty International said the first call was made to the Nigerian Army Command in Geidam, 54km from Dapchi, informing them that Boko Haram fighters had been seen at Futchimiram heading to Gumsa, a village about 30km from Dapchi.

However, the evidence documented by the international group shows that the military did nothing to stop the insurgents.

“The sighting of an armed convoy at Futchimiram immediately sparked several phone calls to alert authorities. Sources who informed the military commander in Geidam at 2p.m. report that he responded to them by saying he was aware of the situation and was monitoring it.

“At about 3pm, the convoy arrived in Gumsa, where they remained till 5pm. People in Gumsa called Dapchi villagers to warn them that Boko Haram fighters were on their way. One villager who received such a call said he informed a police sergeant who promised to notify the Dapchi Division Police Officer (DPO). “At about 6:30pm, when residents were heading to the mosque for evening prayers, Boko Haram members entered Dapchi. Witnesses said Boko Haram fighters asked for directions to the military post, the local government office and the girls’ school,” the report said.

Amnesty learnt from an eyewitness that approximately 50 Boko Haram fighters stormed Dapchi in a convoy of nine vehicles with Arabic inscriptions on them. The vehicles included seven Land Cruiser trucks, one Hilux and a Canter truck.

A police source in Dapchi also told the group that on sighting them, police officers fled because they feared that the Boko Haram fighters would overpower them. According to victims and eyewitnesses interviewed by AI, Boko Haram left Gumsa for Dapchi at about 5pm, arriving at about 6:30pm.

“They left Dapchi at about 7:30pm in the direction of Gumsa, where villagers say they arrived at about 9p.m. During the attack, army officials both in Geidam and Damaturu were again alerted. The military only arrived in Dapchi shortly after Boko Haram left. Villagers in Dapchi and Gumsa said a military jet arrived about one hour after Boko Haram left Dapchi,” read the report.

AI lamented that in spite of the several distress calls, the Nigerian military neither took effective measures to stop the abduction nor made serious efforts to rescue the girls after they were taken by Boko Haram fighters.

The Director, Amnesty International in Nigeria, Osai Ojigho, maintained in a statement that the Nigerian authorities have failed in their duty to protect civilians, just as they did in Chibok four years ago.

While describing the inaction as, “inexcusable security lapses”, Ojigho said, “Evidence available to Amnesty International suggests that there are insufficient troops deployed in the area, and that an absence of patrols and the failure to respond to warnings and engage with Boko Haram contributed to this tragedy. The government’s failure in this incident must be investigated and the findings made public and it is absolutely crucial that any investigation focuses on the root causes".

Trump Affirms No Collusion, Sacks Deputy FBI Director As Lawyer Calls For End To Russia Probe

Trump in a tweet said “As the House Intelligence Committee has concluded, there was no collusion between Russia and the Trump Campaign. As many are now finding out, however, there was tremendous leaking, lying and corruption at the highest levels of the FBI, Justice & State. #DrainTheSwamp.”
Andrew McCabe
Trump was referring to the Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee’s announcement this past week that they were concluding their investigation of Russian interference in the election, though a separate investigation by the Senate Intelligence Committee continues, as does Mueller’s probe.

Sessions late Friday night fired McCabe, a little more than 24 hours before McCabe was set to retire — a move that McCabe alleged was an attempt to “slander” him and undermine the ongoing special counsel investigation into the Trump campaign.

Sessions announced the decision in a statement just before 10 p.m., noting that both the Justice Department inspector general and the FBI office that handles discipline had found “that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor — including under oath — on multiple occasions.”

An inspector general raised questions about McCabe’s discussions with reporters about a case related to Hillary Clinton.
President Trump’s lawyer called on the Justice Department to immediately shut down the special counsel probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election, in the wake of the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
Attorney John Dowd said in a statement that the investigation, now led by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, was fatally flawed early on and “corrupted” by political bias. He called on Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein, who oversees that probe, to shut it down.
“I pray that Acting Attorney General Rosenstein will follow the brilliant and courageous example of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and Attorney General Jeff Sessions and bring an end to alleged Russia Collusion investigation manufactured by McCabe’s boss James Comey based upon a fraudulent and corrupt Dossier".

Nigeria: River State Governor Nyesom Wike Signs Death Penalty Bill For Kidnappers into Law

In order to improve the security of River State and protect lives and properties, Governor Nyesom Wike of the oil rich Rivers State has signed the amended State Anti-kidnapping Law which now prescribes death penalty for those involved in cultism, robbery and kidnapping in the state. The governor signed this yesterday at the Government House Portharcourt.
River State has witnessed series of kidnapping activities and this law is meant to stem the tide and act as a deterrent to kidnappers and kidnapping.
“Rivers government has invested heavily on the security of the state and will continue to do everything within our powers to guarantee the security and safety of lives and properties. “As a fact, we will spare no cost in ensuring that nobody will have peace if the lives and properties of our people make no meaning to them. “We reiterate our zero tolerance for all forms of criminality and reassure residents of our determination to be though with those who undermine peace and security in the state. In a previous address to the citizens of the state the Governor said, “To underscore our seriousness to fight violent crime, we shall be amending the Anti Kidnapping Law to proscribe the maximum death sentence for engaging in cultism, robbery and kidnapping,” he said. Wike said the decision of the state government to offer amnesty to all repentant cultists, militants and criminals was done in good faith and in the best interest of the state.

Governor Nyesom Wike
He said the full weight of the law shall be discharged on anyone who failed to genuinely renounce all forms of criminality as stated in the terms of the amnesty deal.

The governor said the state government would pay N20 million each to any individual who volunteers useful information that would lead to arrest and prosecution of 32 wanted criminals in the state. “The aftermath of crime and insecurity affect society as a whole, and not only the direct victims that are affected. “The duty to fight crime remains collective and no right thinking person should ever indulge in politicizing security issues under any circumstances,” he warned. Wike directed security agencies to immediately arrest and prosecute 32 alleged criminals (names withheld) who he said had either reneged on the terms of the amnesty or refused to embrace it.

He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for sending a delegation led by Minister of Interior, Gen. Abdulrahman Danbazzau, to Rivers to assess the security situation in the state and to commiserate with the government and people over the killings Wike also commended the Nigerian Army and Department of State Security for bringing the alleged killer Don Waney and his gang to book.

Nigeria: Declare Fulani Herdsmen a Terrorist Group - Nobel Laureate Soyinka Tells President Buhari

Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the response of President Muhammadu Buhari to the victims and incidents of ongoing attacks by herdsmen across the country.   Speaking at an event in Lagos, on Thursday, Soyinka urged Buhari to ensure justice is served and instead of just embarking on “sympathy visits.”. “I get impatient when I hear things like Buhari has failed to go and sympathise with the people of Benue, with the people of Nasarawa, with the people of Dapchi or wherever,” he said.
Prof Wole Soyinka

He therefore called for a mass action by Nigerians against Fulani Herdsmen and the declaration of Fulani Herdsmen as a terrorist group just as the United States of America had done.

Tragedy in USA as Bridge Collapses in FIU Florida With High Casualty Rate

Six to 10 people were killed when a newly installed pedestrian bridge spanning several lanes of traffic collapsed at Florida International University (FIU) on Thursday.
Emergency personnel searched for signs of life amid the wreckage of concrete, twisted metal and that rained from the collapsed structure and crushed vehicles on one of the busiest roads in South Florida.

The Florida Highway Patrol previously said several people were killed but did not release a figure on fatalities.

At least six injured people were taken away from the scene and eight vehicles were trapped in the bride wreckage, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez said.

At one point, police had requested television helicopters to leave the area so rescuers could hear for any sounds of people crying for help from beneath the collapsed structure.

The bridge connects the university with the city of Sweetwater and was installed on Saturday in six hours over the eight-lane highway, according to a story that was posted on the university's website. It was 174 feet (53 m) long and weighed 950 tons.

The bridge was intended to provide a walkway over southwest Eighth Street, one of the busiest roads in South Florida. An 18-year-old female FIU student from San Diego was killed while trying to cross the street near FIU last August, according to local media reports.

Students at FIU are currently on their spring break vacation, which runs from March 12 to March 17.

Television footage showed firefighters were walking across the flattened wreckage and medics treating injured people. Emergency personnel appeared to be trying to work their way through a hole in the top of the bridge.

Nigerian Army Should Produce IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu - Human Rights Lawyer

IPOB: Lawyer Blames Military For Kanu’s Disappearance
Human Right lawyer, Barrister Maxwell Opara has accused Nigerian military of being in possession of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu whose whereabouts is unknown.
IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu
Speaking to journalists in Abuja, Opara alleged that the military who raided Kanu’s compound should account for his whereabouts, insisting that the military violated the bail condition by the judge. He noted that  out of the 28 persons that were killed, the military took away 13 corpses wondering whether Nnamdi Kanu or other members of his family were among those taken away after the operation. Opara said,  “When the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria said that Nnamdi Kanu violated his bail conditions which is normal, yes they have the right to say it. They went further to apply for summons asking the court to revoke the bail of Nnamdi Kanu. While we are waiting to hear their application on the 7th of October, 2017, the military went to his house on the 11th September with an armored car and besieged the place and people were asking why, why? Why should that happen? “They left only for them to come back on the 14th September 2017 and killed every living thing in that house- dog, fowl, lizard, human being- everything they killed, 28 persons were killed and they left with their copses. I am talking about the Nigerian Army.
Since then, we have not heard of Nnamdi Kanu. We heard of him last when he called the principal Counsel Ejiofor complaining of the way his house was surrounded by the military. When Ejiofor started calling the line back, up till now, it could not go through. Whether he is dead or alive we do not know.” The activist lawyer queried why nobody was asking the military authorities about Kanu’s whereabouts, adding the operation was uncalled for since it was neither a war situation nor was there any need for arresting or producing Kanu which failed. He noted that if Kanu posed any threat, he would have been arrested by the Abia State commissioner or the director of State Security Services (SSS) in the state. Arguing that the federal government was in violation of the bail conditions granted to Kanu, Opara stated: “ It is a very simple thing. Why are we being na├»ve? Why are Nigerians behaving like this? Even the journalists are not helping matters.
Nobody has gone to ask the Chief of Army Staff or Director of Military Intelligence or the Army Public Relations Officer, why should they bring armoured car to his compound?” On the fate of those who took the IPOB leader on bail, Barrister Opara stated: “They have a very simple case, you can’t intimidate them. Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has filed his action asking the army to produce Kanu.”

The commissioner said the government also gave the livestock owners up to March 19 to pay stipulated fines to the state Ministry of Agriculture to claim their animals.
He said failure of the owners to do so the livestock would be auctioned as from March 20.
Onoja also disclosed that the council approved the release of N261 million as counterpart fund for International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) programme in the state.
He said the council also approved the constitution of the Debt Management Committee for the state, similar to the Debt Management Office (DMO) at the federal level.
Benue State has witnessed series of attacks on Farmers from Herdsmen which has left thousands of people dead, homeless and agricultural products destroyed.
